If Manny Pacquiao can overcome the tough challenge of WBO welterweight champion Miguel Cotto, he says the next logical fight would be a clash with Floyd Mayweather Jr. Pacquiao challenges Cotto on November 14, while Mayweather goes against Juan Manuel Marquez on Saturday night at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas. Both boxers would have to win their fights for their bout to stay on course.
It's logical, but Mayweather will want it all on his terms...weight, money, ring size etc. He will look for more excuses NOT to fight him so long as he can make his money on an easier fight. Especially if Manny makes easy work of Cotto. Mayweather is backing himself into a corner though, there aren't too many easy fights out there for him where he can make big money with little risk like when he fought Gatti and Hatton. Those days are over. He needs to step up and fight the big boys now...Manny, Shane, Margarito, Cintron, Williams etc.
I just hope that that statement doesn't mean that PacMan is looking down against Cotto.. This fight might be one of the biggest upset if Pac get's knock down. Im still looking forward on the upcoming fight of marquez and Floyd... This would really set the mood on the next bout and upcoming bouts
Instead it may end up being Mayweather vs Cotto! Don't over look!
