We have relatives flying in next week and they will have their 18 month old with them. What are some things they can do with the baby in tow? All my children are teenagers, so I have no clue what is available for little ones. They were going to make the trip to Yellowstone, but I don't think that will be happening...

Other than Museum of the Rockies...what ideas are there?

Sorry, don't know of anything to show a Year and a Half old youngster, but I did want to chime in.

Did they ask you to show them around Bozeman? The reason I ask is that my wife and I used to come back for a visit and we pretty much had an agenda that we wanted to see, or friends we wanted to visit. But it wouldn't happen. Her folks made up their own agenda of things that we had to see and for 3 or 4 days we were taken here and there to see what was on "Their" agenda. Finally, we would set our foot down and say, "Look, we are both from this area, we have seen it, we would now like to visit our friends. See you later." Next year, they'd do it to us again. Finally, we stopped going there. We would come up home and get a motel room. We'd visit our friends and do what we wanted for 3 or 4 days, and then call her folks and let them know we were in town and if they'd like to visit, we're at the motel. hahahaha It worked.

They might be on some other website asking for recommendation on things they should see. hahaha So you might want to confer with them.

I will be working a few of the days they are here, but they are very happy doing their own exploring. They did ask for ideas of where to go - I think they were hoping for out-of-the-way places that weren't publicized, but they are doing their own research too. I was thinking of Virginia City as a suggestion. The Caverns are closed for the year...

The Fish Hachery is fun for little ones, they feed the fish, throw their little toys in the water...bummer, it is closed now...

The Children's Museum is fun...Children's Museum of Bozeman

Drive to Billings, go to the Bighorn, play in the pool. Go see the token Montana Zoo...there is a petting zoo there. Lame, but at that age it is fine.
