I had a 19" LCD but I didn't get any HD channels. I plugged in the big screen and now all of a sudden I have more channels, including a few (but not many) HD channels. Weird, but I'll take them. The HD channels I do get look absolutely gorgeous... I can't believe I own this television!

Oh, and it's worth mentioning that, when I went to pick up the TV, they gave it to me without checking my ID to verify that I was the winner or anything like that. I was just flabberghasted when they didn't even make sure I was the winner. Everything in Montana is done on trust. Outsiders might find that refreshing

You still haven't given us directions so we could come watch TV at your house. We see how you are now.

I like LCDs better than Plasmas. Less trouble and last longer. I have a 40" Sony Bravia (LCD). LOVE IT. Never a problem. The tubes in the tv have a 25 year warranty and the tv iteself has a 20 year warranty. We got new, massive plasma screens at work and within a week, images were burned into the screen. Be really careful about that. And research how to clean the screen. Do NOT use Windex or other chemicals. With care, there's no reason your new plasma can't last a long, long time.

In any case, you can't beat a free 42" plasma! I paid dearly for mine.

Honor and integrity. I have a tear in my eye. Where I live, everyone's trying to see how much they can get away with. I'm as old-fashioned as it gets. Friends here call me "Charles Ingalls, Jr." They mean it in jest but I take it as a compliment, because I know I'm one of the very few people they know they can trust. If I say it, it's as good as done.

And trusting we are. Most gas stations don't make you pay first except maybe some in the cities and a few rural ones at night. I've only had to pay in advance for gasoline two times in the ten years I've lived here in the daytime hours, and about four times durring nightime hours. And we do quite a lot of driving.
