They are good, reminiscent of decent steak house steak.

All I need to do is find a very small rural town near these big cities to get to a Costco.

These big cities are just larger rural towns. Montana is very rural.

There was a newspaper article the other day (Billings Gazette) that said transportation expenses for Montanans were higher than housing expenses in all areas but two-- Helena & Missoula. Those two had higher public transportation usage & perhaps better availability.

Don't care about public transportation. Want rural lifestyle and space. Maybe most of that cost for transportation is spent in fuel?

For anyone else who wants to taste Wagyu beef (hybrid) PM me. Will have some to taste from the loin sections after I arrive in Bozeman. Fresh, not frozen. I am on the road trip now so it will be difficult to type an elaborate message.

Yes and no. It is a pure Wagyu sire to black Angus cow. Some benefits for grass fed beef over Angus in terms of marveling and tenderness at a lower cost. Huge differference in cost and the chance to taste test over pure bred Angus. Just an informal cookout.
