In your opinion, what do you love about living in Bozeman? What are things that you consider a "Pro" about living in your city?

At the same time, what are some things you hate about Bozeman? Or not necessarily hate, but just dislike that you wish were different? The "Cons" about living in your city?

List as many or as little as you feel necessary

I no longer live in Bozeman but I was there as a college student. My view will likely be different from someone living there as a working stiff.

Pros:
1. Nice scenery
2. No need for AC (usually)
3. Clean
4. Plenty of outdoor activities

Cons:
1. Ridiculously high cost of living
2. Very pretentious people

The cons are why I won't live there. Cost of living and people make or break a place for me.

300 threads in the Bozeman forum and many can give you pros and cons. How many have you read?

You've started five threads, gotten multiple responses in each but have not responded to any. Are you interested enough to do that? It often helps.

Many find Bozeman "big enough". Unless you pick a lot bigger city there isn't a huge amount that they add beyond redundancy.

Some like the 4 seasons. Winter is 4-6 months depending who talk to and feel about it.

It competes with several other MT for best access to most mountain ranges and diversity of mountain ranges.

Housing prices are an issue for many trying to get in. Working out alright for most owners afterwards with rising home values. Property may be an issue but it depends what you are used to.

Downtown traffic? Depends what you are used to.

Move to it from a bigger city, probably will like it unless you are super into elite urban stuff. Move from smaller place, probably will still like it but it might seem hectic and it will keep getting more so.
