Are pools really that expensive in Palm Bay?

It's worth looking around. Central Florida is still very much a 'buyers' market'. I too have a 2000 sq ft + house in a good area (albeit without my own swimming pool) and I paid rather less than $250k for it.

I paid rather less than $100K for it, actually. I had to re-decorate, fit new carpets and tiles and new 'hurricane proof' windows [a total expenditure of about $30K], but since all maintenance (other than re-decorating or re-modelling) is included in my monthly fees, I have - in effect - a 'timeless' house.

There are bargains out there! - If you look carefully.

I own a home in the Lockmar district. Which unlike most of Palm Bay has kept its value strong. Yes, there are great values in Palm Bay today in other nice areas.
