A yahoo article on low priced homes sent me to a web site with very low prices.

Your advice. Are these areas safe (otherwise, I'm guessing they need expensive repair and would need a cost estimate before considering; the first house looks interesting).

Cocoa can be a rough area. Just read through some of the stats in that zip. 13.9% of houses don't have proper plumbing!

Cocoa has areas that are nice too, 32927 is called Port St John but it's technically Cocoa. other areas of Cocoa have definitely earned their bad reputation and there is a reason why home prices are so low.

Cocoa is VERY hit and miss, mostly miss. However!! Port St. John is apart of Cocoa and is lovely! Five schools as well.
I actually viewed that house via Zillow in April. It was awful! The neighborhood went down hill, the home needed many repairs.. That's when we decided on Port St. John (32927) and found the perfect home. =)

There is a nice area in the 32926 zip code. Parents used to live on Ranchwood Drive. Not all houses look the same and space between neighbors. You can own horses and ride them along the roads. Close to Walmart, Publix 524 and 528 the beeline to cities like Orlando and Cocoa Beach.
