Making a move to the coast of FL from Myrtle Beach. Used to live in Orlando (2000-2004) so somewhat familiar with the area. Must be a within walking distance to ocean as my oldest age 9, surfs daily. From a local perspective what is the best area to raise a family CLOSE to the beach. How is the real estate market as I will be starting a real estate company there. Have family in Orlando, but def not where we want to be. We are in a chill seaside beach community now, south of Myrtle -Surfside Beach ( just ready for better climate, warmer water and consistent wave)

Brevard County will be a good area to check out. Great schools overall compared to much of the state and plenty of beachside communities to choose from (Satellite, Cocoa, Indian Harbor, Indialantic, Melbourne Beach etc).

The real estate market is picking up. Beachside is very competitive, what type of company are you planning to start?
