Default Brevard County (Melbourne, Palm Bay, Titusville, Cocoa)

I would like some more info on this area. It looks like a good spot, as brevard county stretches for 70 some miles, and many different cities within the county to visit.

Anyone that lives in brevard county can give me some info on the area?

Tell us more about yourself and what you are looking for. For example; what would make you comfortable and what your dislikes are.
What draws you to Brevard County?

Are you interested in the Space activities? Live near the water? Inland?

I'm here in Brevard County since January. I will do my best to answer your questions.

My husband and I live beachside in Indialantic. A small town w/a variety of restaurants from Wendy's to continental cuisine, asian, middle eastern, seafood, hamburger/hotdogs, Mexican, Italian etc. There is no grocery store w/in walking distance but there is a 7-11 and CVS Pharmacy.

South Brevard county which encompasses Melbourne, Palm Bay & beachside communities is a wonderful place to live. We moved here from Key Biscayne (Miami area) over 10 years ago and love it. Sound economic structure, lots of aerospace & defense companies coupled with 2 major hospitals, XLNT schools system (overall Brevard school rating is an 8 out of 10), FIT (Florida Inst. of Technology) is rated as one of the top 15 technology universities. For the past 11 years the Melbourne Art Festival has been ranked in the top 100 festival in the US. Although there are a # of chain restaurants, beachside and the downtown area have many top notch independent restaurants. We have (2) Friday Fests a month (street parties). Old Eau Gallie is the 1st Friday of the month and downtown Melbourne is the 2nd.

People are congenial, housing is affordable and if you have to live in Florida, I can think of no better place to live.
