With a basic understanding of all humans as brothers and sisters, we
can appreciate the usefulness of different systems and ideologies that
can accommodate different individuals and groups with different cultural
heritages, having different dispositions and tastes. Each person has
the right to choose whatever is most suitable, on the basis of a deep
understanding of all others as brothers and sisters.

Problem here is that most people don't bother to try to understand their brothers and sisters. They just demand that we should live under the thumb of their religion. Some of them even kill people who don't agree with them. That's not understanding, and that's not right.
I don't believe that others are my brothers or sisters, and even if they were, they have their own lives, and I have mine, and the twain don't need to meet.

By showing compassion to others you will see it is the key to your own happiness.
