His Holiness said Forget and not the F bomb.
We used to have an instructor from Taiwan with a very thick accent.
He would say every morning, "You need to F... us !" What he was
saying is, "You need to Focus !"

I could care less whether he said the "F bomb" or not. In fact it seems to me that one of the Dalai Lama's unique strengths and very appeal, is his down-to-earth 'worldliness' and sophistication, that enables him to cross many different cultures and belief systems, to still impart wisdom that anyone can ''get''. So perhaps traveling the world, while being denied the insularity of his native Tibet is part of his very mission and dharma.
I find HH's staccato, rapid-fire delivery combined with his thick accent, to be so impenetrable that I don't bother watching interviews with him or videos of him and would probably not bother to see him in public if he were in my area. If he would bother to speak half as clearly as he writes, he'd be so much more effective.
In fairness, I have a terrible time with many song lyrics, too, and with some movie dialog ... not because I have a hearing problem but because I have a bit more trouble than most, pattern matching amidst aural "noise". But I am far from alone in this. Doesn't anyone else fine HH very hard to understand? I saw the Piers Morgan interview with HH recently and only got the vague gist of what he was trying to say.
