Industrial photographer visits Buffalo - need info
Visiting family and brought my camera.
I like to photograph industry, and could use some advice as to where to shoot in the Buffalo area.
I like to shoot steel and foundries, manufacturing, mills, plants, factories, etc
I do not trespass and I am not a terrorist.
I am a artist-painter, and use details from the photos I take, in the paintings.
Thank you for any help!

All along the Buffalo River are old grain elevators (a few are still in use) and factories, warehouses, etc. And then along route 5 south of downtown Buffalo and into Lackawanna are old steel plants and other manufacturing sites.
The water pumping station in Lasalle Park has these incredible huge steam pumps (no longer in use). I don't know if the station is open to the public for tours, though. I'm sure security is a concern there, it being part of the city water supply system.
