c I'm just wondering if prejudice is strong in Buffalo. My friend wants me to take a day trip with her and she asked me to post the question.

No. I lived there for 20 years and never met a racist person my whole life.

I've lived in the South but grew up here in WNY... we aren't racist. But there is more segregation it seems up here. Much more friendly here than in the South.

What kind of prejudice are you asking about? The responses are racist, but prejudice can be just about anything.
Sabres Cutie - That's funny what you said about the south, people are more genuine in WNY then the south. |

I'm sure you can find it anywhere but I don't believe it is obvious. We have areas of the city where there are gangs that are predominantly African American or Hispanic. If you are just sightseeing through the area I doubt you'll have any trouble at all.
