I lived in Grafton, south of Cleveland, for a year. The winter was about the same temperature wise as here, same for the snow (minus the "lake effect"). Did have a few tornado warnings in the spring, and rarely do you worry about that here in the Buffalo area. Summer was definately hotter in Ohio, over 90 degrees more days than NY. That was one year though...and in my opinion, I'll take Buffalo over anywhere until I can retire to Hawaii

Thanks so much for your responses. I am originally from Buffalo and am relocating from Northern VA to the Cleveland/Akron area and am just bracing myself for what type of weather I am in for. I am looking forward to less hot/humid summers but am wondering what to expect during the winters. (ei: can I handle it???)
