The poster has no perspective. I have been in Buffalo 20+ years and there are times I don't even lock my car doors. Granted that is probably oversight considering the density of population but I have not suffered ill from it. There are safe areas in Buffalo and the original poster is likely myopic due to the fact that they are leaving the area and will likely say anything to slam it. I've only suffered one loss and that was a bicycle that I left unlocked for a few days. To sum it up, you can't really pick real estate in Buffalo based on zip code.

Fine, I'm sorry, I shouldn't have done that. I was just my opinion based on things I've heard. I've only had one experience with crime in WNY in my 6 years here (car got broken into). I don't think that Buffalo is safe, it's a typical city, like most. I'm from the country (grew up in Indiana and Missouri mostly), and we never had crime in the county I lived in.

But sorry for making that generalization. I won't post anything negative on this forum anymore about Buffalo, except if people ask why I'm leaving, OK? I still don't appreciate you saying that I'm someone else though.
