Dangerous ; it needs to go. How many times a year does it get shut for ice and/or high winds? There is a waterfront; unused....go to Angola and along Rt. 5. From palatial homes, to summer cottages, to beaches -- not much for the people. As much as I detest the insanity of some of the "we know best" bunch around here, this should never even have been built.

Personally, I wouldn't mind if the grain elevators could be preserved in a productive way. I mean I am not going to lose sleep over them getting the wrecking ball... but they are part of the history of Buffalo. |

The other factor is it may be prohibitively expensive to try and take the silos down.. they were really built to last. |

I personally don't care about Buffalo's skyway. Because after tomorrow, I won't be a Buffalonian. They can tear it down. They can leave it there. They can tear half of it down and leave the rest up. Or they even can put up a second skyway. Who cares!!!! It's just Buffalo!

Patience, little mouse. A few more hours of Genghis and that's it. Too bad I won't get to see this Sunday's blizzard, I hear it's going to be a beauty. But that's just part of the allure of western New York, right? "We know how to deal with this stuff". No, Buffalosers, *I* know how to deal with this stuff.
Thanks for calling me creepy, btw. |

I wish you the best of luck. I know what it's like to WANT to move AWAY from a place and what it feels like to want to move BACK! Good luck wherever you choose to live. ![]() |
