Buffalo has a bit of a Pittsburgh vibe to it in spots, too. Certainly not in terms of topography, but Elmwood Village reminded me of Squirrel Hill VERY much when we recently vacationed in your fair city. Allentown reminded me a bit of a poorer Shadyside.

Erie pa is SMALL, buffalo is about 4 times bigger

Actually Pittsburgh and buffalo have many striking similarities as well, from similar population histories to similar types of suburbs
