SUNYAB ( the University) is invovled in a new medical campus downtown. Other schools around here also have medical programs.
What kind of job are you looking for? Attending school and needing to pay your way/or/working and school part-time. There are lots of jobs; jobs for nursing are often in the paper, but more often aides, teach/work with/transport for people in sheltered homes/workshops, servies to abused, etc. etc.... many need a degree and many do not. One thing: like anything else in WNY, you have to expect the salaries here are not too high in any field

Thanks for the info Buffalo Transplant. I have my Bachelor's degree and am certified as a Nursing Assistant, but with my graduate studies I need something to go along with my schedule. I don't see that many jobs for Nursing Assistant, in the Buffalo News, maybe I'll try craigslist.  |

You might try all the hospitals and also the enormous amount of nursing/assisted living, etc. communities, as well as homes for the developmentally disabled. The jobs are there; the term may not be "nursing assistant".

Our Metro Pennysaver had an ad today for The Erie County Home ( home for the aged) needing Certified Nursing Assistants. If I can find a link, I will post it. They don't pay a lot, but there must be many others.
