What is up with all three stations leading off with the damn weather. It's not like the area doesn't get snow. Holy crap stop with the weather as the lead story. Can't watch the crap anymore.

In all fairness, the Southtowns have been hit pretty bad the paat few days. My house got about a foot of snow in about 8 hours on Thursday, and the roads were nearly impassable. Some of the school buses even got stuck. However, i agree that they drag the weather segment on. Ever since snowvember, the news stations go ballistic whenever a lake effect snow warning is issued.

Plus, everyone watches the weather and there aren't many other attention grabbing headlines.

Up to date local weather is the one thing you can't really get on the internet, so maybe thats why. If people want to see the weather and its not on they will switch to another station that has it. Up here in the Northtowns its not an issue but in the Southtowns you need to know what going on. I have lived in both and I know.

I grew up in the snowbelts of Elma and east Aurora. I turned the stuff off now.

If you live in the south towns in the winter you expect crappy conditions. My point is I don't need to see it the majority of the newscasts

I'm in the southern tier, got 1-2', I don't consider it crappy. Absolutely beautiful outside with the fresh snow clung to the trees and faint sunlight thru the light dust still falling.

Exactly. I've stayed home, and watching the 30 inches of snow fall was beautiful

I'm with ya !!! Espically tonight , there acting like it is snowvember. I'm watching the news and it dosn't even look that bad . A typical snow storm , and not a major one at all!

I think it's just the news as a whole . Weather aside , how is it 2 ,4 and 7 have the EXACT same line up ? A cat stuck in a tree kinda storys , and it's on every station , the same exact storys !

One minute of sports and mostly weather it seems. I don't watch the local anymore. Something is lacking from the days of Rich Kellman and Irv
