Vegas,
I don't mean to be a party pooper, but it's against TOS to post a copyrighted article. Could you post the link and perhaps just a line or two?

I move away to central Florida a year and a half ago. |I miss western New York and I'm moving back real soon. mainly due to cheaper real estate and amazing people.

The article states that 5,001 people left between July 2006 and July 2007. Sorry everyone. Seems like my wife and I pushed the total over 5,000. We left in August '06.

To each his own. I've been to both. For a place to live, I'd choose Buffalo/WNY over Las Vegas in a heartbeat.
I'll take Buffalo's weather and taxes over the heat, sprawl, crime, skyrocketing population, and dwindling water supplies of Vegas.
As for the person hyping Florida, I've lived there too (Tampa and Jax).
I'd visit, but no desire to live there again.
Like I said, to each his own. It's just as well we don't *all* want to live in the same few places.
