I also am looking to move to Western NY. What are the run down areas besides parts of Buffalo? I like the area, and partcularly liked the Evans-angola area. I was looking at a property near the Tops Market. Any advice??

They call that region the south towns. Hamburg is the major village. Most people I have talked to that live in that region seem to like it. Post what ever else you find out for me. I'm looking at that area also! I have heard that they get more lake effect down south.
