the only people in buffalo who go to wild wings, are the cheapskates who wont pony up any money for the UFC PPV's and dont want to pay for cable so they watch the sabres games there

As an Ohioan who travels to "The Buff" frequently, I highly recommend La Nova's. The one at the Angola Travel Plaza on The Thruway usually has darn good wings.

Another good place for those passing through is Sneaker's, a restaurant/bar in Blasdell, a SouthTowns burb. Take the Blasdell exit, right at end of ramp after toll gates, and take this road to the 1'st exit. At the end of this tight exit ramp on the left is Sneaker's. Excellent wings

As far as The Anchor Bar: Excellent Beef On Weck, but the wings were a disappointment when I ate there 2 summers ago. They were dry and shrivelled up. La Nova's or Sneaker's is far better.
