We'll be here (when you're gone)
Since this is supposed to be the year "The Aud" is to be torn down, post your fondest memories. Buffalo Sabres, Buffalo Braves... wrestling, the circus, your first rock concert?
I saw (the late, the great) Jerry Garcia play here (1993).

So many, Saw the Rolling Stones and the Who in 1975. I had season tickets in the last row of the gold behind the net where the sabres dressing room was. There where too many for me.

My older brother was going to Canisius College, he worked at 'The Aud' as a night watchman on the weekends. He would get my little brother and me free tickets for the circus...sometimes for more than one performance. After the circus ended, he would take us to where the animals were kept; we watched the trainers and caretakers interacting with them...loved the elephants. What a thrill that was for a 9 and a 10 year old. We liked that more than the show itself. I think of those days often <sigh>

The only time I've been to the circus was at the Aud. When it closed, I haven't seen a circus since

I could have aged myself with my first (ever) "date" rock concert.... Jerry Garcia was not it. Heart was.

Scalped tickets for the Boss in 1984. Sat in the blues seats. I also had season for the Braves.

Why don't you go to the Erie County Fairground in Hamburg?
There're circuses around you all the time -open your eyes and observe the life around you. LIFE IS THE LIVING CIRCUS.

Mine was the Rolling Stones at Rich Stadium and all I can remember is my best friend puking in a garbage can nearby which in turn made me puke! LOL

Waaaaaaaaaaaaay back then I was the youngest tumbler in the Buffalo Turners gymnastics group that used to tumble for the half time shows at the Braves games! I remember how much fun it was.
