Help Moving To Buffalo In June (real estate, sublet, apartments) - City-Data Forum

Hi I am relocating to Buffalo in the 3rd week of june. Does anybody know of a good apt. for rent? Does anyone have a room available for a couple of days until I can make the arrangements to rent the apt. in person. I know is a weird way to ask for help but I have tried other channels and it has not worked. I am a responsible working individual and this relocation adventure is my first one. I really don't know much of Buffalo so any help or advise will be highly very highly appreciated. I will arrive on the 16 of june to Buffalo and have no idea where to start. So please leave your comment, help, advise, all are welcome. thank you! gato

If you have 3 weeks, if you find a place of interest, you might be able to work out an arrangement of moving into an apartment a little early.

What area of the city are you interested in?

Don't you have anybody else in the Buffalo region, but only us? Weird.
How would you survive? Well, at least English is your native language.
Besides, hopefully, your money is your best friend. Money talks.
Why are you moving to the Buffalo area?

Have you checked Craig's List?

I'm sure you can find a place near UB, Buffalo State College, or Canisius that a student wants to sublet until they return to school in August.

Well for what I have read in this forum and others I hope I can find a place near or at Allentown,elmwood village or near one of this areas.

Allentown and Elmwood Village are good choices.

You can stay at the hostel (HI - Buffalo Niagara Hostel :: Hostel to Reserve in the United States (http://www.hostelbuffalo.com/ - broken link)) for a week or two while you look at apartments.

Does anybody know about a GOOD 1 bd furnished apartament to be rented for a couple for 6 months available now? We are looking for something near Delaware district. We're gonna work near that area... We really appreciate some help!
