From: Seneca Gaming Corporation
Seneca Buffalo Creek Casino

The Seneca Nation announced plans for its third casino operation on October 4, 2005, when it acquired 9 acres of land in the City of Buffalo.
Since that time, the entire site, which housed several long-vacant structures, has been cleared, and a $6 million temporary casino constructed.
The Seneca Nation of Indians and Seneca Gaming Corporation celebrated the official opening of the temporary Seneca Buffalo Creek Casino on July 3, 2007, a day after the Chairman of the National Indian Gaming Commission approved the Nation's ability to proceed.
Currently, the temporary Seneca Buffalo Creek Casino features 135 slot machines and a snack bar.

On October 3, 2007, final design plans for a permanent Seneca Buffalo Creek Casino project were unveiled. When completed, Seneca Buffalo Creek Casino will offer:
  • a 90,000-square-foot-casino floor
  • 2,000 slot machines
  • 45 table games
  • A 22-story luxury all suites hotel with 206 suites
  • Four restaurants
  • An indoor swimming pool
  • A full-service spa and salon
  • Retail space
  • An attached parking garage with space for 2,500 vehicles
  • A 3-acre public park
Located in Buffalo's Inner Harbor area, the project is scheduled to be completed in 2010.
