Construction Update: Buffalo's New Federal Courthouse:
Construction Update: Courthouse - Glass coming soon! | City | Buffalo Rising
With the rising of steel on Buffalo's new Federal Courthouse complete, the next phase is moving forward.
The inner window rows, previously covered with wooden boards, are coming out and are being replaced by blue tainted glass panes.
(Took these pics wednesday evening)

Still alot of parking lot left to fill in over there. Too bad the historic house UB demolished a few months ago came down only to provide a driveway into the parking lot.  |

Oh what a shame! This has to stop happening in our city or we'll lose more and more of our city's historic gems that can't be replaced! We need to build on our past and look to the future! |

It would be nice to see some progress finally happen at the AM&A's site. It's a prime location that should not just lie dormant!
It's good to see progress happening on the courthouse, and the rehabbed Dulski Building, where the hotel appears very close to opening. The rooms appear to be set up and ready to go (from my vantage point in the Niagara Center anyway!).  |

They say July 1 for hotel guests...three weeks and counting. Avant is going to be on the downtown housing tour on June 27th- but they'll be showing plans at their off-site sales office at 285 Delaware. |
