I grew up till middle school in EA and can't imagine why anyone would want to move into the city. Sure it is a straightforward suburban living environment in EA/Clarence, but its a nice place. The schools are top notch. Very safe area.

At my undergrad school I met a good friend of mine whose parents believed in 'revitalizing' the city, etc and they had moved their whole family(6 kids) from kenmore to the city. They live sort of near D Park I believe. Jewett parkway(?), its decent area, yet they still get coked out guys coming up to their door asking for money, etc. My friend and all his brothers wen to Canisius HS, he would have been in Bennet Public schools otherwise. Thats another expense right there, I dont think I'd want kids going to BUffalo city schools. I can't imagine bothering to move back to the city...I can't think of one real reason to do that actually.

But its your choice, many people have done it I'm sure. Best of luck.

Do kids in North Buffalo go to HS at any other public HS besides Bennett? What about McKinley or Riverside?

EA is wonderful....reminds me of the charming towns in Ct, where I used to live and love....no other part of WNY looks like it...unique unchanged unfranchised...Knox could have lived anywhere - he chose there...
