Question Anybody have info about Wrazen Park?

On a recent trip back to the Buffalo area, my father discovered Wrazen Park on Wrazen (Street? Parkway?) in Sloan, NY. No one could tell him anything about its namesake. Our surname is Wrazen and his family lived in Depew, NY and other villages; hence the interest. We now live in California.

My efforts to Google the park for information brought up Sloan, NY on the City-Data Forum, so I registered hoping someone can tell me anything about the park's namesake.

Any information or reference source would be most appreciated!

Did he contact Sloan Village Hall? They may be able to help: 716-897-1560. Their Fax is 716-896-2728
I used to work in the Sloan School District. I vaguely remember a student, sir named Wrazen. He was a senior in about 1990. Good luck with your search.

The park and street are named after my uncle Gerald who was a decorated war hero. He was a son of Frank Wrazen Sr and brother to Frank Jr., Tony, and Jackie. The commenorative monument that would have told the story was removed by the town years back.

Felica and John Wrazen lived on Houghton Street. They had 6 children, Henry, Celia,Charlotte, Arthur,Edward, and Sophie. All are deceased. Houghton is near the Central terminal and ends on Brodway at the Polish Villa restaurant. Most of there children are still in the Buffalo area.
