Everyone knows the neighborhood isn't what it used to be, aside from leaving, what had you done to help the community? There are several groups involved with not only the Central Terminal, but the neighborhood around it. They can't do it all alone, and comments like the ones you made makes it harder for the good people to do well.
These are a few:
Broadway Fillmore Alive
Buffalo Central Terminal
Perhaps a little respect from your West Seneca home for the ones who make Buffalo their home? Ya think? Many of us still like to see what's positive.
If given the chance, honestly, what would you do (anyone else reading can chime in) to help the Broadway neighborhood?
Because my work involves another area of the city, I would though, try to keep the community active in watching out for one another. I would also lobby the city for better policing on the streets.

Well said, FedupWNY, you handled this situation in a respectful way, yet you still got your point across to this Buffalo basher.

Thank you.
That being said.... who is surprized to hear that the Central Terminal really is haunted?

Not me, that's for sure. Evey Dyngus Day Celebration there is in the Terminal I attend, I always find myself wandering off a bit from the party, and check out some of the haunted ruins.
It is a creepy, beautiful place. I've always wanted to go up those stairs to the Offices:
And the TAPS team did! Ohh, I'm jealous...
Well, after all of the many eye-witness accounts of the Terminal being haunted, it is not surprising that the Ghost Hunter Team paid the Terminal a visit.
But, there's something about this old, beautiful, creepy art deco landmark that entices me - it calls out to everyone and portrays a strong message that many can observe.
This will always be one of my favorite "haunted" landmarks

Thankfully it is a National Historic Landmark, so there is some protection on the building. The Central Terminal Restoration Corporation (there is some website they have like that) has been renovating some of the interior and the Main Lobby. They renovated old clocks, renovated new marble floors, and put some new windows in as well as right now - they are putting in new bathrooms - (essential first to any restoration project that hosts many parties and celebrations over the years). etc.

I had always heard the ghost stories as well as learning its history. In old pictures, there was much life thriving throughout. Travelers coming and going, ladies in fancy dresses. Like the spirit in the episode, some waited for loved ones to return, and they never came home.
