Default "Haunted houses" in the Buffalo area.

By haunted houses, I mean the commercial kind that sell tickets. As far as I can tell by the adverts on The Edge, there there seem to be about half a dozen, but I can't keep them all straight, and I thought this might be a good place to link them.

Frightworld is fun- but avoid the weekends b/c its really crowded and the lines are very long. I was wondering if anyone knows if they still do the haunted car washes??

there is one off union its on french and union i have been through the houses 3 times now and one of the houses four times! i really enjoy them i think they are alot of fun. there are three houses: House of Horrors, Haunted Catacombs, and Psycho therapy extreme. they are also $20 to go through all three with coupons available also on the website for 3 dollars. two of the houses can take up to 40 minutes to walk through. they have a maze or two... it is alot of fun! House of Horrors Buffalo

i also went to Fright World which is 5 houses and also $20 with a 3 dollar off coupon. the houses don't take long to walk through. i went the first night so i'm sure they are better now, as one of my friends works there and says they added alot more. i may be going back soon.

There is also another location for Haunted houses, at the Hamburg fair grounds. they have 5 houses! for $20 and a $2 off coupon. on top of the 5 houses they also have a rated R house for an extra three dollars. word is that the house is only 3 rooms big and is only rated R for saying a cuss word. the other houses were pretty good. The Dark Raven Manor use to be in clarence on Main street. it has been great the past 2 years and once again they had some really nice special effects.

Also! for some advice be sure to go on a sunday or weekday (not friday)! they are the best because while walking through you usually don't end up catching up to the group ahead of you... that always ruins the experience :-(

Hope that helps and if anyone knows any others i would love to know!!!! :-D

I was looking for the "real haunted house located in Buffalo SC, but can't find it either. If anyone knows could they give us directions and an address. Also, how to go about visiting it and the details. Anyone know of any "proven" ghost houses in Union / Spartanburg / Laurens Counties? Please help! Thanks in advance!
