Downtown Picture Hotspots: (New York, Buffalo, Rochester: city hall, live, subway)

This is a thread in which discusses and portrayes through pictures some of your favorite Downtown Buffalo, NY hotspot locations to take a picture of the city that many love and surround. Please share - as your comments and pictures are welcome!




Here is one of my favorite hotspot locations in Buffalo - At the point of Main Street where the subway goes underground/above ground in/out of Downtown. Here there is a plaza, and when you walk up to the top of the bench area, you can stand and rest your camera on a metal bar that acts like a tripod - and a very level one at that! Here it is in day and night:


At night in Fall:



At Lunch hour in Summer:



At day in Spring:



(Top photo I took yesterday with my new Canon EOS 50D!)
(Middle photo was taken in July with my older verion Canon camera)
(Last photo was takien in April with my very old, and not very good Canon)

If you have any of your own that you would like to share, please do! We need to make Buffalo look great in our pictures - not much of a challenge either with the beautiful city that is Buffalo, New York!

Here is another hotspot location I enjoy going to often as well
- Lafayette Square looking towards the great historic Urban Vista of City Hall:





And in the daytime (old camera) - not becaue it's a great picture but it shows the same area that would be at night - like above ^

It's all in the camera - I'm thankful that I can live here and be able to show off Buffalo in a neat way as I'm sure you feel the same way, FedupWNY .

I took these pictures a year ago with my late Kodak camera. Someone stole it at a bandits game lol. Jerk. Enjoy I was new at taking pictures.
