I would avoid the train, you don't want to do it unless you have to..

Sure they attract some of the sabres crowd, but if you get there early you will be riding with the urban crowd (in my experience)..

Normally, during "Sabres Hours" the crowd is very kind and mind their own business. Other hours can get sketchy. We ride the rail quite a bit and never had a problem around the Sabres Gametime on the metro. - Just thought I would share my humble opinion.
