Default Swimming Classes for Adults

Hello,
My husband and I were interested in started swimming lessons. We were wondering if anyone had an idea about adult swimming classes in the williamsville area? We used to receive these booklets in the mail from williamsville high schools..but we don't get them any more. And I dont remember where the classes used to take place.
Hope to receive any suggestions
MS.

Call your school district for a catalog of classes.

I don't know how much they charge now, but Town of Tonawanda has a fabulous Aquatic Center and people from outside the town can pay for memberships ( at least they used to be able to). It is in the Sheridan Delaware Rd. area.

Hi BT,
I have contacted the local school district, so hoping to receive the catalog soon. The aquatic center seems really expensive for non-residents, about $490 for a year..so I think I will pass on that. But thanks for the great advice.

The aquatic center also has a fitness center and a whirlpool and -- I think -- maybe a sauna. I used to go with a friend who lived near there. If you have a friend from Tonawanda, they can bring someone in with them.

Believe it or not, Clarence also has a public pool somewhere -- I don't know where, but I think by their big white building on Main St. I think it is outside. There was an article in the News about it a while back, to remind people it was there (it was pre big developments and pools in your yard and they wanted it used more). They won't even let you in their parks unless you are a resident or attending a sporting event.... you get ticketed!
