He's making a valid point. The city proper is trashy and not well designed.

Substitute head of lettuce for grocery store, and men's tie for department store and you have the right meaning.

Did I really need to explain that? I would have given you more credit...

Hey guess what kids?

Kohl's Department Store has just opened in the Elmwood Village in the city of Buffalo, along with two new grocery stores. Many smaller markets, like Mike said (above) - the Washington Market, Lexington Co-op, etc, are popping up all over town.

I think that some of these guys need to discover Buffalo today - not 10 years ago.

I agree with the spirit of your post, but the new Kohl's is in North Buffalo.

You see what you want to see. Continue looking through that glass and see how miserable you are. We don't profess to be the best, however you show me the best and I can find a million things to show you it isnt. life is what you make it. Chances are the person living downtown would drive to shop elsewhere whether the stores were there or not.

Not true I lived in Montreal for 11 years and almost never lefted the city.

I lived in NYC for 1.5 years and never left except to go visit people.

Heck, I lived Granby, Quebec, a town of 50,000 for 6 years, way smaller than Buffalo and did nearly all my shopping there. I only went to Montreal for a "night on the town"

Goody for you. I live a walks distance from downtown Buffalo and I leave the city limits for very little.

So it seems that you might like Buffalo more than most people based on that post.

Or you are just an apologist and know that it's bad.
