He's proven to be a progressive...I'd vote for him over Brown.

I like him. He literally could not be worse than Byron Brown.
I actually know someone who is very high up in the city's government. He was officially fired for performance reasons after working for the city for 2 months (we are talking a $300K a year job, not some laborer). He called for some of the city's finances to be audited because they were magically disappearing into some of Brown's favorite projects, despite not being earmarked for those.
Kearns stood with this guy and said it was wrong. Mickey Kearns is one of few Democrats that I could gladly support in New York (the other that I can think of is Gillibrand)

Well said. Mickey Kearns has become a true man of the people. We need more leaders like him in Buffalo.

I don't blame you I am to. But in all honesty, Brown has seen the greatest decline in the city's population, perhaps it is time for a mayor in Buffalo who will look after everyone, not just people in certain neighborhoods.
Maybe Kearns won't do a great job, but Brown had his shot and he blew it.
What has changed since Brown took over? 12,000 people have left the city, and no major new construction or infrastructure has come to Buffalo. Time to retire Byron Brown.

Anyone who thinks Brown genuinely wants to be mayor for the better of the city has their head in the sand. He has higher aspirations and is using this position as a launch pad or vehicle to a bigger position. He is the clinical definition of a career politican and he sucks. I will read up on Mickey

hold the phone. there was one construction..... the new casino thats on hold tehehe. Buffalos politics is just like its sports. we can't wait around on someone. Byron Brown had his chance and he blew it. JP Losman had his chance and he blew it. You see the simile.
Plus Mickey has done soo much when he was in Common Council. and that was 1 term.plus with the Common Councils support things will get done. Mickey Kearns + Common Council = Buffalo Improvement.
He may not have as much money, but hey you dont need a lot of money to win a campaign, plus Byron should be a good boy and help the economy by giving some that money back.
