I've been a fan of the Goo's for a long time, and it is terrific to see them continue to do so well nationally! Being in the commercial is just one of many cool things they have done!

What I really like about them is that they have made an effort over the years to still come back and be a part of Buffalo between the occasional free concert, Takac's efforts to promote music locally with his music festival every year, etc. When they are in the news, they are in it for good reasons, unlike many star acts these days.

I've been a fan of the Goos since they were first starting out... used to see them play at The Continental, and my ears would ring for at least 48 hours afterward. They were pretty unpolished in those days, and they were LOUD, but always a lot of fun. :-)

I've heard rumors that this is going to be their last CD . Does anyone know if that's true? If it is it will be a real shame for music fans and the city of Buffalo. They have always given Buffalo great publicity.

At first I thought it was Niagara Falls too, but the more I look, I'm not sure now.

I hope its not their last album. That would suck. I saw them perform at Darien Lake in 2007. i think. And the Concert was packed, we take pride in bands, and people that represent our city. Key Word. REPRESENT, not Embarass

Used to go to the "Old Pink" when Robby (guitar) was a DJ there on weekends.

Funniest thing is that no matter what obscure unknown band or song you wanted to hear, he would have it.

He always had a stack of cd's that seemed taller than City Hall.

Yeah, it was 2007 that they played Darien Lake. I was there too. It was an excellent Concert!! (although I must say, it is a PITA to get out of there afterward!)
