I won't hold my breath, as I never said that. But thanks for being rude anyway!
Don't forget Middletown. I went there expecting an 80% White city, and was shocked to see (and then read) that it was close to 30% hispanic.

Again, being 30% Hispanic doesn't mean it is a community that is mostly illegal immigrants. Many people of different races and ethnicities move to the Hudson valley and Orange County in particular from NYC for a change of scenery. So, quite a few are going to be Hispanic considering the high Hispanic population in NYC and Downstate NY State. So, that doesn't surprise me and Middletown also has a relatively high Black population too. Here's the demographics for the school district there: https://www.nystart.gov/publicweb-rc...1000010000.pdf
Nearby Newburgh is similar in that regard too: https://www.nystart.gov/publicweb-rc...1600010000.pdf
Heck, look at Dunkirk and Amsterdam. Both have had Hispanic communities for decades due to the industries in those smaller cities like Steel and Carpet manufacturing. https://www.nystart.gov/publicweb-rc...0100010000.pdf

You very strongly implied it by saying first, that Harlem is one of the "largest homes to illegals in the country", then following up with "I went there every day last time I went to NY, and there were tons of Puerto Ricans.". It seems as if you were using the presence of Spanish-speaking American citizens as evidence of an illegal immigration population. If this was not your intention, you need to more carefully choose your words.

Sorry you thought I was being rude. I was just providing some information that it seemed like you didn't have. Don't take it personally.
At any rate, this thread is hijacked beyond repair. If you would like to share your knowledge and opinions of NYC immigration, ethnic neighborhoods, and politics, I cordially invite you to start a thread in the NYC forum. Nice bunch of folks over there.

I recently read that the health care cost to NYS taxpayers for illegals aliens is $5 billion+ annually, that raises a huge question for you liberals trying sweep this under the carpet.
Just how many illegals do you think there are in NYS running up that massive burden for taxpayers?
Do you think it's just a few hundred or so? LMFAO
Oh I went to the store again today here in Buffalo(Cheektowaga) and right in front of me was another family of seven asians all speaking a foreign language.
So maybe they ARE US citizens who ordered one of those Rosetta Stone courses and decided they just don't like to speak english.
Or maybe we actually do have quota for legal immigrants intact, but just recently these legal immigrants have decided that Buffalo is THE destination of choice in the USA.
That's what must have changed these foreigners are ALL legal and the big increase I see here is because word has gotten around worldwide that if you immigrate legally to the USA, Buffalo is where you want to go!
LMFAO
I have some land for sale on Jefferson Ave in Buffalo in case you flaming liberals are interested.

I don't think you'll get many bites that way
BTW, I had someone trying to convince me to buy a rental property in Buffalo, I have some cash in the bank for such an occasion (or a good down payment on a home), and I said no, because I hate Buffalo.
So don't tell me that the opportunity cost of scaring the rich Whites out of NY is zero, because it's not.
FYI - I am looking into Atlanta, Richmond, and Virginia Beach when I go on a trip next week. I am serious about throwing some serious cash somewhere (well serious in my opinion, about $40,000 down payment, so probably at least $250,000). I will never support Buffalo.

Where did you get those numbers from in regards to illegal immigrants and health care in NY State? This article is interesting, if that is the case: Illegal Immigrants Account for $10.7 Billion of Nation’s Health Care Costs, Data Show
So, you mean to tell me that almost half of that number comes from NY State? Really?

Do you have any evidence to the contrary? Before you refute something, get a couple facts... We shouldn't need to do the Google searches for you. I'm sure that the data is readily available, and the idea of debate is using concrete facts to refute another's claims not just saying, "NO U!"

Did you read the article? If you did, that would mean that the figure the guy or girl stated would make up almost half of the national costs in that regard. Considering that the article stated that the overwhelming majority of that cost comes from states on the US/Mexico border, it is extremely hard to believe that post. So, maybe it is about people actually reading the posts.

In Long Island alone you can add: Hempstead, Glen Cove, Roosevelt, Central Islip, Westbury, Valley Stream, Huntington Station, Elmont, Valley Stream, Farmingville and many many more. Even my town (Port Washington) which is quite wealthy, has a sizable number of illegal (and legal) Central Americans in the Manorhaven section. I would say that 2/3 of communities on Long Island have places were illegal immigrant day laborers stand on certain corners were contractors come by to pick them up for day labor. This is considered quite normal here, no one thinks anything of it.
