How would you rate the City of Buffalo, on a scale of 1 to 5
A scale of one to five, how to you rate Buffalo.
This is overall and not limited to any one parameter. We will let it run for three months and crunch the numbers as a public opinion.

3 stars. Not quite cosmopolitan (NYC, Toronto) but still quite metropolitan. People everywhere actually have heard of Buffalo and some do know about it. I don't know if it is the buffalo wings, the Buffalo Bills, the fact that it is quite often attached to Niagara Falls to make "Buffalo-Niagara Falls", or simply because a type of furry animal for a city's name is quite cute and catchy.

I was going to give it a 2, but decided on a 3. Reason is, I see some stuff starting to happen that is positive. Not a ton of stuff, and not everywhere, but there are some pockets of positive movement. Downtown, you have the rehabbed Advan building (or whatever the old Duslki bldg is called), the new courthouse going in, the inner harbor is progressing nicely and has potential...

I would love to be able to say 5, but realistically, 2. When I lived in Buffalo, and when I come back to visit, I have always loved the Downtown area. Unfortunately for the city, however, it has more than just downtown. I hope that new projects come to fruition and the city begins an ascent, but it will be difficult, and, moreover, time consuming. All good things in time though. Ask this again in 5, 6, 7 years, and I believe that MY response will be much more favorable. Can't wait for 10/25..I will be driving to Charlotte for the game!!! As a testament to Buffalo sports fans, the Panthers sold out 3 games on the first day of single game ticket sales (the first 2 home games, and...)-one of which being the Bills! Like when the Sabres visit Raleigh, I expect it to be more a neutral field game than an away game!

Pushing 4 or even 5. I couldn't ask for a better place. And the potential is overwhelming, which makes me love it even more. BUFFALove

Elmira has potential, doesn't mean I want to ever live there.
