Awesome, I am excited and can't wait until I can get there.

There are only a handful of suburbs near Birmingham that actually seem decent.

I was wondering how the nightlife was in Buffalo? I live near Birmingham and there isn't much to do, places don't stay open very long and after awhile you end up at a Waffle House because it is the only place open. The South just isn't for me I guess.

Thanks! See you soon hopefully!
Dude...if you are in Birmingham, AL, head "west" to Dallas. Buffalo and all of WNY is still losing population. The exodus continues. The negatives FAR outweigh the positives. Don't do it!

To categorize the local municipalities by tiers:

Tier 1 - Williamsville, East Amherst, Clarence (the 3 previously listed form a triangle living inside or near would be ideal), Orchard Park

Tier 2 - Lewiston, Lancaster, Hamburg, Wheatfield, Pendleton

Tier 3 - The rest of Amherst, select areas in Buffalo (beware that Buffalo lacks buffer zones i.e. nice to ghetto in a matter of foot steps), Grand Island, West Seneca, North Tonawanda.

Tier 4 - Practically everything else

Tier 5 - Niagara Falls, Lackawanna, no go zones of Buffalo
