Default Rental Homes - A Resource Contact?

Anyone know of a good real estate agent or service that helps people find rental homes/townhouses?

We want to rent something the first year there and while I don't mind doing my own research, having someone with access to a database of information would be easier. LOL

That and they can help us find the kind of neighborhood we are looking for.

Thanks!

Outin10 is on a distinguished road
I'm pretty sure we dealt with Hunt Realty, real good company, and our agent was named Bob Barnhardt. He was a stand up guy, super patient.

Why do you need a database of information from a realtor? You have the internet and this great website!

Take a look at craigslist, even realtor.com has listings for rentals.

What area are you looking at renting a home in?

I'm a major researcher and have found many websites to help me, I was looking for more of the help with the different neighborhoods kind of advice. Combine that with access to different properties that might not be advertised and it's a win win for everybody.

Any of these will work.

Amherst
Clarence
Depew
East Amherst
Hamburg - If Nothing Else
Lancaster
Orchard Park - If Nothing Else
West Seneca - If Nothing Else
Williamsville

I want good schools, safe neighborhood, homes with character and something close to good hiking or state parks.

Your best rentals are going to be Lancaster and Amherst. There is actually a new complex on Lake or Aurora in Lancaster Village which is right across from Como Lake Park. It is easily walkable to the village area with the library and PO and Town Hall, many churches, etc. I don't know the name -- it went up in the last 2 years -- maybe Lakeside? The entire district buses, but it is close to the elementary ( I imagine it would be Court St.) and the Middle School.
