RallyPoser is on a distinguished road
Thumbs up New to Allentown, with all sorts of questions!

I'm going to use this post to ask all sorts of questions, and hopefully someone can answer each one!

Thanks in advance!

1. Are there any other Buffalo community forums or good websites?

2. I'm looking for a good laundry spot in Allentown or south Elmwood. Wireless would be sweet, or next to a bar or coffee shop!

3. Any gas stations with reward programs?

4. Any liquor stores with reward or membership savings? At least I have my priorities.

5. Good coffee shops or restaurants with free wireless? TimeWarner won't get out here for another 2 weeks!

6. I'm looking to get some stickers printed locally, quickly, and kiss-cut (die cut) Any suggestions?

7. Good radio? I'm into classic rock, alt/indie rock, public radio, news,

8. What should I do this weekend?

Thanks!

#8) Go to the Buffalo Rising website. There is a post there about what is going on this weekend in The Queen City. Lots of other info and links there too I think.

Can't answer all your questions, but here's a couple responses:

Probably have to go up to Premier on Delaware Ave in Kenmore to find that. I don't think the city liquor stores really do that. Spirits of Allentown at Allen/Wadsworth is still a halfway decent liquor store and the Buffalo Beer Merchant, a little north at Elmwood/Utica is good for fancy beers.

I like the little coffee shop just north of Allen St on Elmwood, but I'm pretty sure they don't have wireless (or very much seating!). Spot Coffee down at Delaware/Chippewa does have wireless. Also, you can go to any public library location and get free wireless. There's a branch at Porter Ave/Prospect and another up Elmwood at Highland Ave.

It's actually the Village Beer Merchant, of course. My mistake.
