Outlet Malls in Western NY? (Buffalo, Rochester: sales, sales tax, military)

Hello,
Are there are any outlet malls in the Western NY area? Some websites mention Niagara falls outlet, but I think that has closed, is that true? It would be great if anyone knows of any outlet malls in PA, which I can drive to from Buffalo. I heard there's no sales tax at the PA outlet malls.
Hope someone can give me some options. I checked a few websites, but they keep giving me Walden Galleria, Boulevard and eastern hills mall...which are all just malls and not outlet malls.

I was surfing a little bit more and found the Chelsea premium outlet at waterloo, NY which is about 1.5 hrs drive from buffalo.

The outlets in PA are in Grover City. You can do a one day trip if you leave early enough.

Waterloo is the outlet mall right off the thruway between Buffalo and Syracuse, and a bit south of Rochester.

Grove City is Fabulous. It's about 90 minutes (give or take) from Buffalo.

There are the niagara outlets. I heard Walden Galleria is getting a big boost, cheese cake factory, and sephora. I'm sure there's decent shopping in syracuse, but it's about 3 hours from Buffalo.

Thanks for the replies. I checked the grove city, PA outlet mall, its about 2 hrs and 54 min. from buffalo. I was specifically looking for a banana republic outlet. And unfortunately both the PA and the niagara falls outlet do not have the store. I guess I will be going to the waterloo,NY outlet mall which is 1 hr. and 44 min. away from buffalo and has the banana republic store.
I know I will have to pay a hefty sales tax in NY compared to PA, so still in double minds

It may have changed with the season but when I went to the Banana Republic at the Waterloo Outlets last Fall the deals weren't that good. In fact, I found better deals during a sale at the Carousel Mall Banana Republic in Syracuse. Plus the quality of the clothing wasn't as good at Waterloo compared to a regular Banana Republic store. I'd still check the Waterloo outlets out just so you can see for yourself, but personally I find that you don't save enough money at Waterloo's to warrant spending the money on Thruway tolls and gas and the time it takes to get there. Same with J. Crew. It all depends on what you are looking for though, so you may like Waterloo better than I did.

I've heard that an Outlet Mall in eastern PA has a much better selection and greater discounts than the outlets in Upstate NY....

A Banana Republic will open in the Niagara Falls Outlet on Monday.

A Banana Republic Factory store is set to open Monday morning at the Fashion Outlets of Niagara Falls USA on Military Road.

The store consists of more than 8,000 square feet
