The park, the casino area is very nice, but what happened to the rest of the city? Niagara Falls has one of the most abandoned buildings/ houses I ever seen. It is just blocks after blocks of abandoned buildings and houses. So what I want to know is how did this happen?

Years of political corruption, high taxes, also investors hoarded properties, and never did anything with them.

Welcome to Niagara Falls

There are many threads on NF. Pollution, high taxes, crime corruption and people generally leaving the colder climates for the warmer ones sum it up.
