I am moving to Buffalo on sunday, living in a hotel for awhile, but I was wondering what everyones opinion is on the best deal and picture for a cable tv and internet package? The internet I have in Iowa does not serve New York.
The only option for cable is Time Warner, they also have Roadrunner Internet. Some areas have Verizon Fios available but I guess that would depend on exactly where you would be living. I have Time Warner's Roadrunner for internet & DirecTV.
I agree, depending on where you live, you can get Internet and/or TV thru Time Warner, Tv through Direct TV (Dish) or Dish Network, and Internet thru Verizon Fios. Some locations in the suburbs have Fios TV thru Verizon as well. You can go to their site and type in the zip code you will be living in to see if it is available in that town. IN my opinion, Time Warner continually raises rates without adding valuable additional services. I pay more for internet and tv than I do for heat.
It sounds like we will be living in Amherst 14226 and it looks like Verizon tv is available... Anyone have any input on the Verizon FIOs tv?
Its available here (Hamburg), everyone I know that has it absolutely loves it.
