The relocation is looking more and more real... My husband and I traded in our two cars this weekend to go down to a single one with 4WD in preparation to be back in snow.

We're trying to figure out how we're going to get by until we're ready to buy or build a house up there. It's the two of us, our two dogs, and one cat. We're in our late 20s but don't want to be around the college rentals, so we were hoping to find something temporary about 20-25 min outside of Burlington. We're having a hard time finding pet friendly temporary rentals.

Does anyone want to share their relocation experience and offer us any suggestions?

Default same boat

We are in the same boat as you, except with 2 cats. I haven't been able to find a rental for us yet either. We are thinking about trading in our two cars for a 4WD as well.

We are still trying to figure out which way is best to move all our stuff. If we move first, we'll let you know how it goes. Please let us know how yours goes too.

Good luck with your relocation.

Yes, I'll definitely update if we find something. We're hoping for late August, but it depends on when our house here sells. Let us know how it goes if you get there sooner! Good luck to you as well!
