Nothing like authentic Mexican, El Salvadorian, Peruvian....but I have been living in Manassas, VA for the last 15 years where you'd walk into one of these places and have to get the 'english' menu. Everything else is Tex Mex or American Mexican as I like to call it. I have not found any authentic in the Burlington area.

There are plenty of good eateries when it comes to Mexican around here. El Cortijo is crowded, but for a reason, seeing as the food is locavore and delicious. Bueno Y Sano is opening a second location. My number one pick ,however, is New World Tortilla on Pine St.. My Dad was visiting from Montpelier and was blown away by the quality, the portions, and the low prices to boot. Try the Chicken Vera Cruz. You'll be back.
