Are you looking for any affiliation?
Rice Memorial High School is the largest private high school - it's catholic.
Other than that, there are lots of very small private schools. Bellweather, The Schoolhouse, Waldorf, Vermont Commons etc.

First choice would be Lutheran, second-none, third-Catholic. Close to South Burlington or Grand Isle.

I wish i could tell you there were. There are no college prep private high schools in the Burlington area. Rice Memorial Catholic is the only private HS that I can think of other than what I would consider the "hippy/progressive" tiny private schools.
There are a couple good private high schools but they are clear on the other side of the state - St. Johnsbury Academy & Lyndon Institute. If you would considering boarding your son/daughter, i'd consider those.
