Many people are outraged with the high prices at the pump, but Gary Cooper, a truck driver from Hampton, took a unique stand to express his opinion about fuel prices.

what an idiot! i really just don't get the whole blame opec thing!

1) the problem is not that gas prices are too high. it's that they were too LOW for so long and we built our economy accordingly. it is our shortsightedness which built an economy relying on outsiders to deliver.
2) imagine how opec must feel when all those billions of dollars sitting in their coffers have devalued. thanks federal reserve + bretton woods
3) opec have been pretty accomodating by ramping up production recently another 500000 barrels p/day
4) with all due respect, if opec does have a tear to shed maybe it will be for the worlds poorest people. if you're on minimum wage you're not even close to being considered poor by world standards
5) can't afford the gas, get a bike, a bus or walk. that's how most of the people on this planet get around

If this foolish man wants to get mad at anyone, get mad at Helicopter Ben for devaluing the currency. People dont get it, speculators are NOT the driving force in this issue and neither is OPEC. Research folks.
