Worried. First cold night in the east

My next home will have a wood stove..for about $2500 installed and it can heat up to a 2500 sq/ft home.

Backup is propane gas.

I thought it was a joke. ONLY $300! For 10 months!

There are going to be some cold hungry folks this winter.

I am going to try to remember to pick up extra food in the next couple of months to donate to the local food pantry. People are sure going to need it.

Yes that's what I use when it's cold. It works great to heat the whole house. I have eletric room heaters for back up if I need them, but electricity is getting higher priced all the time. Mostly I put on warm clothes which is enough this time of year. Yes it's getting cool early here on the Oregon coast. Daytime temps are alright but at night it's getting cold already.
