Ignorance isn't the goal but the presentation of the news is always based from fear.... The whole approach doesn't inform but makes Americans distrustful of others. If you believed all you saw you would be convinced black people are responsible for all the crime. Seems theirs is the only ones for the most part that are covered. While it would be nice to know whats going on in reality no one is benefited by the knowledge. It is obvious people do not act on the news they see. - Voter fraud in FL the right to vote and have it count is dismissed, Bush , Cheney, Rice, Rumsfeld lie to start a war. Congress removes road blocks so Rupert Murdoch can own all the sources for news, Iraqi "freedom" has resulted in the loss of 1.4Million Iraqis ( was it free from their body?), Oil is running out, wind solar and water power are renewable, the democrats and republicans block Nader and Barr from presidential debates, Americans have email and phones tapped, ..... No one is outraged from any of the news to do anything. So if information is so great what good does it do? I say turn it off and find other sources. mainstream media is more concerned about getting you to buy another drug so you will be dependent on UpJohn , Squibb, or the other drug companies... could their control be the reason some drugs are illegal? no patents, no control... thnigs that make you go Hmmmmm.

So when everyone goes on about conmen and other criminals trying to scam you, with the phrase, "If its too good to be true, then it probably is", all along millions upon millions of Americans are scammed every week by their own government. Ya know, the mob ain't nothing compared to white collar crime thats happening on Wall Street.
